Drabble the first
Okay, I don't know why the twins would be there. They just are.

'nother drabble coming.

Title: Catching Up
Author: Guede Mazaka
Rating: PG
Pairing: Implied Sands/El, implied Smecker/Greenly.
Feedback: Spelling errors to constructive crit., whatever.
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Notes: For [info]hermine for the amazing graphics.
Summary: A chat between two compadres.

***

As he spoke, Sands twirled the little umbrella toothpick between his two fingers, tilting his head almost pensively. “Smecker, I’m a little rusty on American law enforcement, but I’m pretty sure the FBI’s jurisdiction ends at the border.”

“It does. I’m taking a vacation.” Paul downed the last of his margarita, winced at the sweetness, and then ordered a decent upstanding whisky. “So are you, I see.”

“More like a permanent relocation. Mexico’s nice. Cheaper to bribe, forgiving of messes…not bad in bed, either,” Sands drawled. The guitarist sitting beside him just barely twitched. “How’s shit on your end?”

Before he answered, Paul did an aural check on Greenly—still banging around the pool tables. God knew where the twins were, but then, Paul wasn’t no damn babysitter. “Let’s just say I’ve got reasons for staying in the States.”

This? Would be my new fandom obsession. Love it. I've said it before, but you always manage to get Smecker's voice down perfect, and I like your Sands too.

Thanks. BDS could always use another fan, it's so small (and cozy and nice and cool).

Oh, I've been a BDS fan for a while. I'm getting such a kick from the crossover-ness, though. There's real potential in the whole mind-boggling perfect rightness of it. Feels like there's a massive story lying in there somewhere.

That's what everyone keeps telling me, but I'm not in the mood for it. [info]penm is trying to do something with this crossover deal, though.

Love the drabble! Thank you;)
heh and Paul having not only Greenly but the twins too? I almost pity him. I´d greedily demand more of this, but I started catching up with my f-list and stumbled over "Possession" before reading the drabble... whoa. That was brilliant. I loved every minute of it, because you managed to convince me that this could have actually happened.
And you have created a very believable Lancelot. He makes me want to smack and comfort him at the same time... *sighs* Plus having a referee in bedroom... that is a tres grand idea;) The end had me snickering- Tristan... *grins*

So you really made my day-

You're v. welcome.

Actually, what I figure is that the twins went south to take a break from being chased by the police, Smecker followed because of a case and dragged Greenly along.

I'm not going to guess at the bedroom arrangements:P

And thanks v. much! 'Possession' had me a bit worried as to the plausibility; Arthur/Lancelot's so tightly wound together that it's hard to see how anyone short of Guinevere could get in.

I found the storyline quite convincing- both character seem (moviewise) very caught in their own strong beliefs. If they were to be in a relationship, they certainly would end up hurting each other. *sighs*

PS. One of my friends asked for a Gawain/Galahad wallpaper and I can´t find lyrics or a text fitting them. Any ideas?

Sadly, I'm shite when it comes to quoting lyrics--can't write without music, but I don't really hear the words. Maybe some of the WWI poets, like Siegfried Sasson and such? From what I can remember of them, their stuff would fit.

Still digging the crossover, babe.

Great voices on Sands and Smecker.

Mmm.

Christ on a cross, there'd be no evil left in Mexico at all if this squirrel ever went full-blown.
